Tøyen Bee & Bee
Commercial for the insect hotel Tøyen Bee & Bee, created by Atea, IBM and the Natural History Museum. We 3D-scanned the hotel to fly into the bees' world.
In the middle of Tøyen there is an insect hotel, created through a collaboration between Atea, IBM and the Natural History Museum. They wanted a commercial that highlights the importance of taking care of our insects. We wanted to get close to the insects with the camera, and to give the audience a completely new experience we scanned the entire insect hotel and recreated it in 3D. This made it possible to “fly in” alongside the bees and experience the world from their perspective. The film shows how their insect hotel is used for valuable research that can contribute to a more sustainable future.
