Anders Øvergaard

After 20 years in film and video production, Anders has a bit of everything in his back catalogue. He won the Amanda Award for best children’s film for his debut feature «Til Siste Hinder», which he directed when he was just 23, and has since won directing awards at festivals including Stockholm Film Festival Junior, Nordische Filmtage and the Norwegian Short Film Festival in Grimstad. He has made documentaries sold to NRK and a short film shot in 48 hours that has been seen by more than 38 million people, and started a YouTube channel about filmmaking that has reached 400,000 followers.

Anders loves telling strong stories and works creatively with the client from pre-production through to the finished film. He is at his best in fiction where people take centre stage, often with a playful and warm tone, and spends his time finding the angle that makes a film stick with its audience.
